Role
There were four members in the entire team, namely PM, UE designer (me),
front-end engineer, and back-end engineer.
The development mode was agile development. In the team, I was responsible for:
1. Combined the requirements from PM, provided preliminary solutions and optimize the use process.
2. Considering the production cost and system stability of program development, adjusted the design plan.
3. Developed design system to improve the input-output ratio of design and development and maintain stable quality.

SUSU Design System
—— Doing complicated work makes things ——
Because of cost considerations, a lot of steps were skipped. At the beginning, after drawing wireframe on paper, a high fidelity was taken, and then discussed with the engineer while doing it. However, after several version updates and new members were added, we realized it’s time to make design system. The purpose was to reduce the time that designers spend on visual design, and the time that developers spend on clarifying problems with designers, and use a more efficient process to make more perfect quality.

SUSU Editor
—— Do the hard things in a simple way ——
The websites and document editors that Taiwanese often use (like yahoo and PC home) are used in the following modes: list all the functions and let users find the functions they want. It more or less influence users’ habits. However, "building a website" is not as simple as buying clothes online or writing a document. What the user expects is a easy-to-get-start tool to complete "building a website" in minutes. Therefore, we believed that the SUSU should provide a step-by-step interface to guide users to easily complete site building.

Regardless of whether users are doing a website for the first time or have encountered difficulties in building a website in the past, there is a certain learning curve for online website building platforms. If we listed all the functions at one time, the user may not know anything, so we advocated showing the functions only when needed to guide the user to complete the task. Furthermore, kept the editor screen simple and concise, so that users can focus on designing the web page without being disturbed.
